Submissions guidelines

Abstracts
Abstracts should present innovative and unpublished work, provide a clear statement of the problem or hypothesis and the basis on which conclusions are drawn. The text should not exceed the number of 1,000 words (including headings, excluding references). One figure/table is allowed.

For the submission of an abstract, please use the submission form on this website. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will not be reviewed.

Oral presentations
Oral presentations are limited to 20 minutes of which 15 minutes are reserved for the presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.

Poster presentations
Posters must be presented in portrait format and poster boards will be available for the presentation. It is a tradition of SoA conferences that the presenting author(s) will be given the opportunity to summarize the research work in an oral presentation which is strictly restricted to 3 minutes/poster prior to the poster session.

During the poster sessions presenting authors are requested to be available for discussion at the poster board.
